Abstract

Azetidin-2-one derivatives as novel antimicrobial agents were carried out. Literature survey Schiff base has good antimicrobial,antifungalactivity and it can be prepared by the acid catalysed reaction of aldehyde or ketone and amines. Azetidin-2-onederivatives have been exhibited to possess biological properties like antimicrobial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antibioticactivities.These compounds are characterized by chemical and instrumental methods. Their important biological properties have beeninvestigated.
