Synthesis of Some Novel Pyrazolo Pyrimidine Derivatives as Potential Antimicrobial Agents

Abstract

An efficient method was developed for the synthesis of pyrazolo fused heterocycles via catalyzed free reaction of under reflux in good yields. New pyrazolo pyrimidine derivatives were prepared by cyclocondensation reaction between 3-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5(4H)-one, amino pyrazole and substituted aldehydes derivatives. This procedure provides the desired compound in good yield with a simple one-step methodology. All the synthesized compounds were characterized by their spectral study (IR, MS, 1H and 13C NMR) and were tested for their antimicrobial activity.
