Improvement of Water Quality of Charada Lake of Gandhinager District by Using Natural And Synthetic Coagulants

Abstract

Access to safe drinking and irrigation water is important as a health and development issue at national, regional and local levels. Especially in rural areas, rely on unimproved sources and need for finding ways of treating water is crucial. Turbidity imparts a great problem in water treatment. For this Developing countries pay a high cost to import costly chemicals for water treatmen.So in the present study i investigate the natural and their combination with Natural + Synthetic Coagulants on Charada Lake water of Gandhinager District, Gujarat for two different seasons, result shows that after treatment it reduce physico-chemical parameters but still it is not in permissible limit which is recognized by WHO.
