Abstract

The Bokoharam sect has in recent times cast terror on communities in the north eastern part of the country through the persistent use of Improvise Explosives Devices (IEDs). However, it was observed that the bomb blast scene is poorly managed in terms of Forensic evidence that can be extracted from the scene. This paper outlined the fundamental scientific methodology for analysing a post bomb blast scene, with the strategic aim of averting subsequent attacks.
