Synthesis and Antimicrobial Evaluation of Quinoline Bearing Hexahydroquinolines
Keywords:
Hexahydroquinolines, Polyhydroquinolines, Multi-component reaction, Antimicrobial activityAbstract
A one pot multi-component approach was successfully developed to prepare a series of diversely substituted hexahydroquinolines and various spectral methods along with elemental analysis technique were used to characterize them. The newly prepared hexaydroquinolines were evaluated for their antibacterial and antifungal activity against selected bacterial and fungal strains.
