A Review on Importance and Applications of Schiff base Ligands and Schiff Base Metal Complexes
Keywords:
Schiff-base ligand, Metal complexes, Bio inorganic chemistry, CatalysisAbstract
In this review discourse about the importance and applications of Schiff base ligands and their metal complexes. Because of their importance in a variety of interdisciplinary study spheres, Schiff-base ligands have made a substantial role in the development of present-day coordination chemistry. Schiff base ligands and their metal complexes have received significant attention in the scientific community for their exclusive properties and versatile applications across various fields such as the food industry, agrochemical industry, dye industry, analytical chemistry, catalysis, energy storage, environmental, chemo-sensing, bio-sensing and biomedical and so on. This review highlights the current state of the study and future directions in the field, making it a valuable resource for researchers and specialists in the bioinorganic chemistry field.
